Outdoor Portraits

Nothing compares to the great outdoors as a backdrop for portrait photography. Outdoor portraits allow for more natural, candid shots since the subjects are able to move about freely and interact with the environment. Freedom of movement is particularily advantageous when photographing children. Shooting outdoors does present some particular technical challenges due to the fact that there are factors (such as the lighting) that cannot be controlled. S. Carmody uses knowledge and expertise of how to manipulate and enhance the existing light and settings to the best compliment the subjects.
