Weddings

Many photographers cringe at the thought of doing weddings- “It’s too stressful, it’s boring, and what about ‘Bridezillas?’” I firmly disagree. When else does a photographer have an opportunity to capture such beauty and emotion, all jam-packed into one day? It is definitely not boring, since every wedding has a distinct personality and style. Weddings demand use of every bit of my combined knowledge of shooting products, portraits, events and fashion. Given the challenge of capturing a wedding, and the opportunity to use and my skills to capture a story that people will treasure throughtout their lives- how could I not love it? Insofar as “Bridezillas” – I guess I have just been lucky- I’ve almost never shot a bride (or groom) I didn’t think was totally cool.
